In September 2011 the Hotel Abanico was awarded with the badge of Tourist Quality Commitment. This distinction is given by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade of Spain and its goal is to ensure, among other, for the internal management of tourism enterprises and institutions or the establishment of controls to ensure customer satisfaction and the safety and comfort of the facilities.
